2012-2013 Organizational Priorities
Latina Coalition of Silicon Valley (LCSV) Board members have taken a good look at advancing our roles as individuals and stewards of the advancement of Latinas in our community. We emerged with a bold aspirational vision for the kind of community we want to live in, and how we can support Latinas in their leadership and civic engagement.
Our 3 organizational priorities are: Increase the number of Latinas in elected positions, increase the number of Latinas registered to vote and positively represent Latinas in the media.
- LCSV wants to see you participating on Boards and Commissions and running for elected office
- LCSV wants to see a registered and active Latino electorate
- We want Latinas to see themselves reflected back in the media as the leaders they are.
Our Board will continue to inform members about how our programs incorporate our 3 organizational priorities.
