Tatiana Villaseñor Carrillo

Tatiana (she/her/ELLA) is a multi-generational Chicana/Méxicana who is native to San José. She participated in the immigration reform marches of 2006 alongside her mother, Patricia Carrillo. She began her career in civic engagement through PACT registering disenfranchised neighborHOODs to vote during the historic 2016 election cycle. After graduating with degrees in Sociology combined with Latin American and Latino Studies and Critical Race and Ethnic Studies from UC Santa Cruz in 2018, she began her organizing journey as an Education Organizer at Rocketship Public Schools. Tatiana was able to activate and engage with over 100 Parent Leaders throughout San José. Her core group represented monolingual undocumented mothers, second, and third generation families. She is excited to re-activate her core group and expand her group to represent the growing Latina demographics of Silicon Valley, formerly known as the Valley of the Heart’s Delight.
